Fridate, I'm in love: CAB - Cafe Bob's in Manila

Cafe Bob's is a popular restaurant in Bacolod and it's owned by a close college friend of mine and her family. They are known for their pastries, coffee and food. A few years back, they opened up their first Manila branch in Magallanes and now in Kapitolyo! It's just a few minutes away from my house. yay! I love that our neighborhood has more quality restaurants like Charile's, Poco Deli (will post a Fridate on that place soon) and now CAB! :)

LJ and I didn't want to go far for Fridate so we decided to eat here and try out their food! Oh it's Friday, so no pork and beef. Here's what we ate:

Tuna on Wheat Bread - This is actually not wheat bread since they ran out. They used white bread instead. The homemade potato chips were thin and crisp, perfect with the tuna sandwich. We liked how generous the tuna spread is. It overflows when you bite into the sandwich. :)

Pinoy Deli Spaghetti - Fresh tomatoes, salted egg, and tinapang bangus bits. Trying to be healthy by eating fish pasta? This might not be the healthiest one out there but it's so good. The saltiness of the bangus and egg was perfect with the tomatoes. It had a very comforting taste! Loved it!

Margherita Pizza - Thin crust pizza baked in a brick oven. I think it would have been better if fresh tomatoes were added and also more basil leaves that weren't baked in the oven. Usually, fresh herbs aren't as strong when you cook them. It's still good though, real mozzarella cheese was used!

It's interesting that they have the Green Pepper Tabasco Sauce here. Not a lot of restaurants have this in their condiments area. LJ really used a lot of the green pepper sauce on his pizza.
