Dessert finds at Best Food Forward

It was a wonderful Saturday afternoon to try out new dessert finds and the perfect place to do that was at the Best Food Forward bazaar. My friend Klar Joseph, a pastry chef who studied for two years in Chicago, just came back a few months ago and is now starting her business here in Manila. She's starting off her line up of wonderful desserts with homemade cupcakes.

Chocolate heaven!!

The Diplomat - We ADORE this cupcake. It's a moist chocolate cake with chocolate cream inside and more chocolate to top it off.

Red Velvet - This is what red velvet should be like. Some red velvet's i've tried don't have enough of that chocolate taste. Plus, the cream cheese icing is made with real cream cheese and not one of those trying hard to be cream cheese icings made with just plain cream. haha

We just had to go back and buy some more to bring home! :)

This is so sinful. But who cares!! It's so good!

Here are some of our other dessert finds in the bazaar:

Mochiko (Php 75 each) - Mochi balls with ice cream inside. Yummy flavors to choose from.

We got the green tea flavor. Vendor said to wait for 2 minutes until we bite into it.

Well we had to wait for more than 2 minutes because they were frozen and too hard to bite into. We loved that it's not too sweet and is quite refreshing.

French Macarons by Christa (Php 40 each). They had flavors like chocolate, coffee, caramel and mint to name a few.

Loved the brown and orange boxes!

It was such a fun Saturday afternoon. It was nice looking around the bazaar and trying out unique food finds! Will definitely buy more of Klar's cupcakes, bye beach body! :( haha
